The BCSC are thrilled to be supporting Black Country Living Museum’s History at Home project.
These new resources have been specially designed to support families in providing quality and engaging learning content for KS1-2 learners in their own homes, all with a Black Country twist! Right now, you can learn about the lives of coal miners and the dangers they faced or discover more about life on the canals – expect plenty more exciting themes over the coming weeks.
Each theme has an introductory video and an interactive Powerpoint, including loads of fun facts and activities for all the family.
The BCSC is also working with colleagues at University of Wolverhampton to develop content to compliment and extend History at Home, including resources for adult learners. More details will be announced over the coming weeks.
